Description: I was lucky enough to catch a few photos of this rare stark white hummingbird at Blackie's Pasture – on Friday the 13th of all days! I saw it only this once... though it did loiter long enough for me to 1) realize what I was seeing 2) fumble with my phone 3) squeeze off a few shots. I believe it is technically leucistic (reduced pigmentation) rather than albino (a complete lack of pigmentation) due to its black beak and feet. A full albino hummingbird would have a pink beak and feet.
